LETS TALK FASHION LADIES.........

Let us all face the facts ladies, we are all dissatisfied with our bodies it does not matter how beautiful the world see us. Do not be discouraged, we do not all need fabulous bodies to look great. The trick is knowing how to hide the parts we are not too happy with and to show-up the parts we love. We have to start by telling ourselves that no one is perfect, let us just continue to highlight the parts we are happy with and camouflage the parts we are unhappy with, let us deflect attention away from our perceived faults, that is all it takes to be a fashion plate no matter what type of body the fashion world has classified us as having. We just have to present a unified vertical look rather than disconnected parts, attention is drawn to where ever there is a disconnected part. The aim is to present a consistent look from head to toe, so that our bodies look 'unified' a whole unit rather than a collection of disconnects. Attention is drawn wherever there is a break in the proportion or balance of our look. We have to choose our wardrobe wisely.

Dressing to Look Slimmer

We should try to achieve vertical lines with our outfits so the eye could travel up and down our bodies making us look taller and much more slender. The opposite happens when we create a horizontal line with patterns that have a lot of horizontal lines/designs, when this happens the eye will stop looking up and down and go from side to side. However we should wear any horizontal lines or patterns across our slimmest parts only to draw attention to those parts. Wearing a dark cardigan or jacket over a light color printed top or dress is great, the eye will be drawn to the slim strip of color or print underneath giving us a much slender overall look.
If we are a bit top heavy and do not have much of a waistline, we should wear long dangling chains with attractive pendants or we could wear scarves which will create a vertical line to visually break up the top half. A deep V-neck will again draw a vertical line down our top half and will also achieve the look.
If we are pear shaped which just means that some of us have slimmer tops and wider bottoms, we should wear a skirt fitted/tailored at the hip and slightly flaring towards the hemline, this will help to narrow the bottom half so we look more balanced on the top half, creating a unified look and a fabulous silhouette.
For us ladies with big thighs, we should wear darker colors, skirts, pants and jeans constructed with side seams that are cut slightly towards the front of our thighs giving our thighs a much more slimmer look. We could also enhance an elongated our look by wearing darker colors and by wearing the same color skirts, tights and shoes keeping the eyes moving vertically 'continuously' thus making us look taller and creating a slimmer profile. Also, wearing shoes that are cut lower down our foot will elongate our legs and shoes with a more pointed toe will lengthen our legs even more.
When we are going to the beach, we should wear swimsuits with darker panels at the sides slenderizing our overall look, this will also work with sportswear. We should also wear our clothing a little more fitted many of us make ourselves look bigger by hiding beneath very loose fitting clothing. However we should not wear them too tight either as this will also achieve the opposite result, it should be fitted and gently skimming our bodies.
Last things first ;) Let us all make sure that our under-garments fit us properly. Properly fitting under-garments will immediately take off pounds, we should always get fitted professionally for under garments, Ladies, ladies! Let us not forget our posture we should “always” stand up straight and pull those shoulders back ! Our tummies will look flatter instantly!
