Trending the Globe!!!

SPRING AND SUMMER ARE JUST ABOUT HERE GUYS!

Now let us take a look at the Spring/Summer fashion trend of 2011, if we want to be up to date with all the latest fashion trends and how they should be worn. Past elements and previous fashion trends are being blended to achieve a sophisticated feminine look with a punk rocker edge.

The different blends....

- a 70s sophisticated glamor look with dresses that sparkle and shimmer and elegant blouses worn with high-waist pants paired with biker boots achieving a 70's look with a mixture of the punk, biker and ladylike looks of the 40's, 50's and 60's.

- Lace, quality antique Classic Lace fabrics incorporated in the construction of dresses and skirts with different lengths – from the sheer maxi to the short mini.

The 1950s and 1960s silhouettes has returned, with garments that accentuate our overall look and strongly plays on our femininity. Hip-hugging sheath dresses with below-the-knee hems straight out of the sixties is the look to achieve, we must also include full circle skirts and dresses in the 2011 fashion trend, incorporating fresh colors, prints and light summery fabrics.

-the punk fashion trend should have an overall theme blending punk elements with other seasonal trends. Incorporating a feminine look with a punk rocker edge. The safety pin is great when trying to achieve a punk look. This should be worn on the garment and not as a body piercing, kilt pins as an accessory would be perfect - worn several different ways, use your creative imagination, pair them with scarves, etc.
- Combat boots or biker boots paired with skinny jeans or skinny leather pants will certainly punk up an outfit, embellishments like studs and stones will enhance the punk look however, be careful not to over indulge the look, wear them as a dominant, but not over the top detail.
